The orchard consists of the following varieties: Wichita-19.83ac, Pawnee-13ac, Cheyenne-10.8ac, Cherokee-3.75ac. Trees are drip irrigated through an agreement with the Lake Proctor Irrigation Authority with an allotment of 1ac-ft of water per acre of orchard. The orchard has been intensively managed with annual soil aeration, applications of nitrogen and zinc, and a balanced fertilizer blend that is soil applied every two years. Trees are in a hedging program of the tree canopy to maximize pecan quality.
